Why do you need a professional photographer?
1. The professional photographer is interested not only
in capturing great images, but is always considering how the images
'flow' and how the lighting, composition and emotions of the images will look as part of a layout in a photo album or when printed as a portrait.2. In the end most clients want more than just computer files on a disk. Whether or not the photographer makes a photo album, most clients realize that they want a way to display their wedding or event images in the most dramatic and artistic way possible.
3. A photo album is so EASY TO LOOK AT. Just flip it open and look at the pictures!
4. The large format of the images in your album have a lot of punch. An image that is 20x9 inches tells a different story than it does when printed as a standard 4x6 inch photograph or viewed on a computer screen in it's limited color range. The large images display beautiful color and detail.
- Our albums are printed on deluxe thick card stock pages that makes them both sturdy and elegant.
- Photo albums are hand crafted with materials and inks that are museum quality. With proper care your album will look as fresh and vibrant in ten years as it does new.
- If you plan on printing photos from your computer, they will never be as bright and clear as our albums and home computer prints can actually cost MORE than one of our hand crafted albums!
- Our album covers are amazing to see as is the number of cover styles to choose from.
5. In addition to albums, we find that most of our clients realize how important quality products are when displaying their wedding memories.
- Our complimentary Engagement Session provides images for
- Save-the-Date cards and magnets
- A display portrait matted in a signature matte for guest signatures on your wedding day.
- A photo guest book for your wedding, designed with guest signatures and written best wishes in mind.
- Our display prints and photographic canvases currently hang over many fireplace mantels in homes and businesses - including our own!
- Most packages include 'small gift albums', identical to the bride and groom's as gifts for friends, wedding party members and relatives.
- Other items include a disk of hi-resolution images for personal printing and storage purposes as well as an artistic slide show presentation designed to be viewed on your television screen. A web album with a dedicated link rounds out our packages. Your friends and family can view and order images for a full year after your wedding day.
6. I suppose the final thing we'd like to point out is to ask yourself, "What percentage of my wedding budget is going to photography"? If that percentage is less than 15%, in our experience you should seriously re-evaluate your budget.
